On Thrusday, April 30th at 7PM, John Divola will be giving a lecture at the Eastman House to, I assume, promote his new book being released by Nazraeli later this month. Divola's almost 40 years of work has been seeing lots of attention lately for very justifiable reasons. I'm sure the lecture will be great and well worth the admission fee

My friend Eric asked if I'd link him on here months ago and I completely forgot until now. Eric was my TA for Photo Arts 3 and will be graduating from RIT in the spring. He recently spent the entire winter quarter home in Connecticut on independent study, working on his new project titled DMV.

One of my good friends from home also recently made a website called On City Streets, showcasing Philadelphia graffiti. It's starting off small, but I have really high expectations for it's future

ATTN: RIT Students

Would anyone be interested in starting a collective blog devoted to photography books in the RIT library? It would just be a listing of important/interesting books in the library accompanied by their call numbers/location, identifying tags, and maybe a few pictures. Contact me if you're interested

P.S I'd like absolutely anyone to help me with this. The wider variety of interests, the better it will be

If you're (still) in Rochester next Thursday night, you should check out the Draft magazine release show. A few friends of mine and I are in it as well as a bunch of great photographers from RIT, it is sure to be good
